Dittohead Mark on Franken's show *CONVERTED(?)* by Joe Conason

Mark said that he and Al were just butting heads about the Limbaugh issue, but Conason's comments were really opening up new directions. Making him reconsider Rush. He asked not to mention this conversation to Al because he's made Mark's 'conversion' such a big project, and this single conversation has done more than all that.

I didn't really catch all the conversation, just the end of it. So I don't know exactly what was so effective.

1. I caught the tail end

I can't stand the guy so I turn the sound off when he comes on but I turned it back on and I heard JC telling him that in Rush's rants and in real life, it's always the little guy who has to take the fall.

I doubt he's converted, permanently anyway. He'll come back later with some lame rationalization and jump right back on the bandwagon.

Glad to see Mark has a good sense of humor, doesn;t surprise me with Al as his friend.

I enjoyed the interviews with Mark's sister a few months back and how he turned to "the dark side"

8. I think Mark is just a "contrarian"

I remember when Al took his show on the road, Mark was with him at one point and we found out that his family was grateful that Al will talk to him, since his whole family is liberal and no one will let Mark talk at all. So I don't think he is really pro "'con"...just someone who likes to argue.

5. He pointed out a lot of Rush's hypocracy, such as his yapping

about liberal elitists, but saying in an interview with Cigar Afficianado that he liked vacationing in Paris at very expensive hotels and smoking Cuban cigars, vacationing in San Francisco while bitching about their mayor supporting gay marriage, etc.
