Rudy speculation -- deeper trouble? |
|
With Rudy now doing his best to separate himself from Kerik, it might be more than his future in politics that he's trying to protect. The hovering ethical and moral cloud that Kerik seems not able to escape may yet snare Rudy. But I wonder whether there are legal issues regarding their partnership.

1. Won't harm Rudi with the repug base |
|
Slime and corruption are just air and water to them. Their only moral code is 'just win baby'. Might harm his relationship with the puny little egomaniac though.

Right wing religious nuts won't endorse Rudy. You need a score card to keep track of Rudy's mistresses, wives, annulments/divorces. AND he is pro choice, pro gay marriage, and pro gun control. BUSH and KARL ROVE have created a myth that has no bearing to REALITY.

3. If there were a real press, they'd be investigating Rudy's |
|
little post-9ll scam foundation. Employed his then galpal (later wife) and other cronies. I think Newsday ran a piece a while back on this little game....

8. And there is the rub... |
|
We don't have "real press" anymore. The Fourth Estate was there to protect us from our government. Instead, they protect the government against the public.

7. Not that Rudy shouldn't suffer...however, it's always amazing how nothing |
|
ever sticks to Bush.
You can thank the media for that.
Had this been Cllinton who didn't do the due dilligence and who almost appointed a guy whose record suggested he was going to use the position to get personally rich and probably laid, Clinton would take the full brunt of the blame, in addition to or instead of the best friend of the guy who recommended the nominee to Clinton.

9. Did I call it or did I call it? |

this was a preemptive strike for Jeb in 2008.
The Bush people knew full well what they were doing.
