My own private propaganda war...
Hey, look what I removed from the Y's reading table, along with James Dobson's November "Focus on the Family" Voting issue. Some one had thoughfully donated to the magazine library. These have now rightfully made their way to the trash can, along with some other choice conservative propaganda.

Heres how they encourage the flock to the polls:

and more patriotism (fascism?)
http://www.joycemeyer.org/html_jmm/mag/october/pg10.html

Since the election, I have removed such hateful biased garbage whenever it crosses my path. I am fighting the misinformation campaign by donating my used magazines the same magazine rack, including old copies of Newsweek, Mother Jones and The Nation.
Don't get me wrong, there is still "good" Christian reading, that does not advocate the overthrow of our government for those who will replace our civil liberties with the so-called "moral values".

I plan to step up my campaign to remove conservative propaganda from waiting rooms all over my community, and replace it with good wholesome liberal thinking media. It will be done quietly and stealthily. It is well worth a small investment to my cause.

A small, quiet, and much needed service in my community. And with that, I will steal one of the quotes from one of the articles above, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” - Edmund Burke

Now, how do we get people to stop listening to Rush and the like and start tuning into progressive radio?

1. Excellent !
Every little bit helps.
:yourock:

Regarding the blowhards on the radio, I don't have any ideas short of sabotage. But I'm open to suggestions !

PS: Welcome to DU ! :hi:

2. That's what I've been doing with ALL my lefty magazines.
Of course, I remove my address tag first. :-) Nobody's gonna notice that you did it, either. You carry your magazine in with you, sorta rolled up. You get a magazine out of the rack or off the table and start reading it. Then, when you're ready to go, you neatly leave both magazines where you got the original one. I smile when I think of the places where I've left behind these little bits of subversiveness.

3. Another way of framing vote fraud
I have bought post-its and some plain little labels that I can use with my computer and printer. I paste the labels on the post-its. Then I can put the post-its anywhere. If I see a car with a Kerry bumper sticker I can leave them a note. Or I can leave them ON magazines in doctors offices. Anywhere. Sort of like Kilroy was HERE.

Tomorrow I'm going to print:

Without Fair Elections
All Bets Are Off

And:

What Are They Hiding?

4. I do something similar with business cards.
I got a bunch of business cards printed with information about electoral fraud and links to http://votergate.tv/ and I leave them all over the place. They're so small and inconspicuous -- I love them.

Imagine pulling out a napkin out of a dispenser in a fast food restaurant and have a little business card fall in front of your fries.

"WTF?" thinks the surprised fast-food eater...

Then he reads the business card that says <The 2004 Election Was Robbed>.

I love fucking with people's minds, especially when there's the chance that something good might come of it.

Keep getting the message out!
