Edited on Fri Dec-17-04 12:52 AM by bobbieinok
when my son was small...

--a cowboy show on TV? he got his cowboy hat and holster

--a baseball game? he got his mitt and hat and ball

--a football game? he got his football and jersey

I've seen similar things with other little boys....haven't noticed it with little girls

I was reminded of this when I saw the picture of W in his 'uniform' in front of the troops in camo

2. When I was a kid in Georgia...
Part of the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park bordered my backyard, so I grew up with an enormous interest in the Civil War.

Being a proud native southerner, whenever I played "war", I always played the Rebel.

Then one day when I was 9, my father watched my friends and I charge the hill in my backyard while doing our best to imitate the infamous "rebel yell".

He called me over, sat me down, and explained to me what the Confederacy was rebelling against, and what slavery and secession was really all about.

After that day, I only played as Union soldiers, much to the chagrin of my fellow neighborhood playmates. And even though I was always outnumbered, and beat up every once in a while, I knew my side would win eventually, and I played it up BIG TIME.

The only negative side effect was a couple of bruised egos, a few lost friendships, and four completely worn out Union blue Cub Scout shirts whose badges kept mysteriously "falling off".

(General Sherman didn't wear a Wolf badge, so neither did I!!)

Too bad Fearless Leader was never pulled aside...

4. FYI little girls play dress up too
I had a little sister that did it all the time. Only their dress up is stuffing their shirts to make it look like they have boobs and taking whatever outfit the person in the house they are staying at has. Sad thing though about my little sister is she grew up to be a Spoiled Brat. That is why even at age 16 this year I still give her and her friends the nickname BRAT PACK.

P.S. Football players are really closet cross-dressers. I know this because they played dress up with the football players at Halloween over here and had them dressed as girls. Ironically it was their idea.

5. yeah they call those powerpuff games
It's as American as apple pie. Hell, "America's Mayor" Rudolph Guiliani is quite the drag performer himself. Yes, that's him! Quite the lady!
