Laura couldn't even hold them (the cat and Barney) in a natural way (embracing and close to her body) at the end ... heaven forbid if some pet hair would get on her purdy jacket!

Someone else raised Barney and someone else will be the master of the new female pup for Pickles.

As such, the video came across as blatantly tacky, if not condescending toward both humanity and the animal kingdom.

If I know K9 behavior (and I do <g>), they'll have a difficult time socializing that new pup with Barney. It's natural to be jealous and I'd bet money he'll nip her in the a** a time or two before she realizes that he's Alpha. LOL

That little movie probably cost US taxpayers several thousand dollars. And they have the nerve to put something in there about the 3 boxes of tinsel at 79 cents a box. And oye, Rove's performance with the blue balls and his comment on Ohio. Gods, but I really can't stand the idiots in the White House ("Barney, I know you wanted to be in my cabinet but I've got a more important job for you.") At least Barney showed his feelings by playing with the red balls.

After seeing the picture of Rove, I think I saw him in a motorcade last night. As the limo passed I got the definite aura of death, doom, and destruction. I work in DC at Penn Ave and 22nd St.

And one last thing - notice that Pickles said Happy Holiday? Wonder how long it will be until one of their fundy base calls to complain?

pretty much any photo taken by someone is that person's creative property if they want to contest it. You don't necessarily need to apply for a written copyright for it. Copyright is assumed to be the property of the photog or the business they work for. Obviously they don't have the resources to police every website but I suspect a freebarney website might garner some extra attention.
