"20/20" about Homeland Security officials meeting in Hawaii

Hope this isn't a duplicate but I was watching TV last night and there was a commercial for tonights segment of "20/20" about Homeland Security officials meeting in Hawaii, ostensibly for some kind of Homeland Security business. However, it looks as though they are simply on a junket. I think it's some kind of hidden camera report and the even catch Tom Ridge in the act. From the little they showed in the commercial it didn't look as though much Homeland Security business was being tended to. We'll see.

A stealth thread. A secret conversation. Now where the subject line should be it says "view all" so only those prepared to deal honestly with the entire reality we are facing will come here.

Why don't we (with the op's permission) make this the "view all" thread? No sugar-coatings, no rose-colored glasses, no Pollyanna rationalizations, no "the sun will come up tomorrow" idiocy, no "get a grip" and "what are you smoking" comments, no "I wish you people would just stop being so negative" lectures, no "get over it" and no "time to move on" exhortations. Just stop and take a cold, hard, sober look at the situation.

I think that it is time that we view all courageously and unflinchingly.
