No caviar for bush voters!!!
Every year at Christmas, we get a big gift basket filled with lots of gourmet goodies from a relative. Last year, we were talking to our neighbors and mentioned that it had caviar in it and neither one of us like caviar. The guy jumped up and said "Oh I loooooove caviar!" so we said have at it and gave it to him. They voted for bush. After the election, they moved their bush sign so that it FACED our house and left it there for a few days. You know, just rubbing it in.

Well, he must have seen the FedEx truck this year, because we got it today and I was walking out to my car and he comes bounding out (he is ALWAYS in the garage, because he is miserably unhappy and he knows his wife hates the garage and won't go out there) and he yells out "Hey didja get that gift basket today?" I stop and say "yep." Longish pause. He laughs a bit nervously and says "Did it have any of that caviar in it?" I said "yep." Another pause. He asks "Don't y'all hate caviar?" I said "yep." Stared at him. He said nothing. Shifted his weight. I got into my van and drove off.

I'm worried about that, because I enjoyed it a bit too much.

No caviar for bush voters.

1. Too bad it probably went over their head.

And now their probably coming up with all sorts of wrong excuses as to why their liberal neighbor didn't give them that gift. I think you were too tactful.

6. I don't think it went over his head.
He knows I basically refused to give him the caviar.

But yeah, he's probably in his garage right now muttering what a bitch I am for not giving him the caviar this year.

repukes have some nerve, don't they?

9. They do have a huge sense of entitlement.
And they project it on to everyone else.

11. Especially since he was so rude to you up until he wanted his caviar.
(rude with the sign)

It's almost unbelievable what they try to and do get away with recently.

13. Oh yeah he's a real winner (wiener).
Loves racist jokes, loves jokes about "killing ragheads," thinks everyone who doesn't think like him is going to hell and deserves it, etc.

But when he wants something from us, he's all lightness and sunshine.

:puke:

And this SAME guy rants and raves about anyone getting any kind of handout and there he is out there asking for his free caviar.

On edit: he didn't even have the balls to ASK. He just stood there beating around the bush until I got in my car and drove off.

7. He didn't think he HAD to ask
He simply felt he was entitled to it.

He was being a "welfare queen" and that was the bit he didn't get!

10. Well that just how the rest of the world will begin to treat us!
When the US finally comes to its senses, the World will give us the cold shoulder. What goes around, comes around.

12. Good analogy
and unfortunately I'm sure you are right.

They will have NO sympathy whatsoever.

Us Kerry voters will be like the children of the bush voters are now: too bad you have to suffer for their mistakes, but oh well.

:-(
