Equipment for troops...Kerry's fault? a repuke believes so...
This other board that I go to is infested with repukes...one of them is saying that it's Kerry's fault that the troops are not getting the equipment they need...this repuke says "thank god the republicans voted for the money to equip our troops"...then goes on to tell me that it's Kerry's fault because of his history of voting against military and defense...and brings up the fact that Kerry missed 87% of the votes this year...

what is the fucking deal with these idiots...?

It's perfectly clear that they are really really stupid...

Has anyone else had to listen to that kind of crap...?

3. The bill passed.
So Kerry really has nothing to do with the mess they're in.

Of course they all forget that Bush sent them off to war long before there was ever that pesky Kerry vote.

10. Mz Pip.... exactly
Bill passed so what happened? Wasn't Kerry's objection to the bill, the fact, the majority of the money was going to Halliburton? He was right, it did, sure didn't go to the troops.

5. Yes.
Their thought process knows no logic--or sanity. I lend half an ear so that I know what the current talking points are, and then ignore them.

I finally stopped wasting my breath on the convoluted ones that live in their own world. Instead, focus on the ones who just aren't very informed. They are easier to reason with.

7. Mr. "Get Things Done"
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 02:24 PM by sandnsea
What about that, Bush said his policies and issues aren't important, he's a man who gets things done!! Kerry not only voted against that bill, he called for Rummy's resignation at the time. He also introduced legislation to reimburse families for body armor because it wasn't being provided. Where we are today is the very reason he voted against that bill, because the job wasn't getting done then and it's not getting done now.

Dumbasses.

Oh, and by the way, maybe if a few Democrats would have understood this a couple of months ago, instead of joining in on the right wing lamblasting of Kerry over the $87 billion; well, who knows...
