3. I'm 72 and never used marijuana but think it should-----
be legal even for recreational use. It's certainly no more dangerous than alcohol.

Think of the money saved if law enforcement didn't have to bother with all the nonsense.

that's how I look at it. We'd empty the prisons out in a hurry and make room for people who actually deserve to be there.

5. Same issue as that bugaboo, ID for me....
Let the scientists (in this case, doctors) decide what is or is not appropriate treatment.... I take it that for certain maladies, they say "yes". As I'm not an expert in the field, my vote goes with them.

Is that really such an odd line of reasoning? If not, why can't so many others seem to appreciate it?

6. If the FDA determines that it has medical benefits
that are greater than the legally-available THC treatments, yes.

If not, no.

7. Hell, as long as alcohol is legal, they ought to make marijuana legal
for any purpose.

Oh, yeah. That silly tax thing. The stuff grows like a weed.

8. Who voted no?
I always wonder if the disruption rate for polls serves a sample for the overall level of trolling for the board in general?
