WMD's found or Saddam capture be announced Sunday night???
Bush is gasping for air, he must find a a way out or he is toast. I figure the WMD's are in place or they may have actually captured Saddam and plan to announce it Sunday night. Imagine the impact it would have on the sheeple just days before September 11th, the polls will sky rocket!

This is a desperate administration here, do or die! Up until now they have been playing nice. They will not fail simply because of morality or that pesky international law. No, it's time to switch the rules to new school neocon style.

2. Nope, they cannot announce WMDs found, nor Saddam captured
Not after giving two days notice. Im portant news like that must be released immediately. You can't give two days notice on an announcement of that nature.

My guess, this is Smirko the Clown saying, "Put me in front of a camera, I'll turn this thing around with a great speech. Now get busy and write it."

Karl Rove must be gasping.

3. He will push the fear button...in order to get his 60+ billion....what can
he say? All is well in wonderland? He will get his money for Iraq
because we have to do it...but he has to say something about what's happening. It's too little too late.

10. Yeah....I agree....
Bush can't bring out the BULLSHIT poker chip of SH,OBL or WMD until next year much closer to the election.

Its going to take another disaster,3000 dead or something big to turn this around for Chimpboy. So...hold on to your ass next year...someone,hundreds or maybe thousands are going "west" for Chimpboy's re-election cause and they could care less.

15. Walt calls it, again
No way would they wait. It's going to be, "We're making great progress/listen to this heartwarming story/gotta stay the course/we're welcoming other countries/why just today Poland announced.../and in Liberia,.../"...

You know, that kind of bullshit.

5. no way--he needs 70 billion for more slaughter in Iraq
and there is no new evidence to justify giving it to him.

This speech is merely to try and save the MISERABLE FAILURE's ass in 04. After all, even the stupidest Americans will look askance at the election going to Shrimpy after his public opinion polls are in negative territory for months. These criminals need a boost and fast.

Ha Ha. They won't be able to carry it off. Their castle is made of sand. The whole fantasy is about to come apart like ice on the Antarctic Shelf.

Ha ha. If only I could really laugh! Too many people have died over this farce. Enough already!

7. Well under a Baghdad rose bush
they found Saddam's diary...and it PROVES he had a dream about weapons once...so that justifies the entire thing.

So there!

Sunday's speech will be built around some version of "Criticism at home only weakens our nation and strengthens our enemies' resolve."

9. Nope
He would want that out immediately so the talk shows can praise him. My guess is that he will be sitting there with a big plate of steaming black crow and freedom fries explaining why his sorry ass had to go crawling back to those irrelevant folks at the U.N.

17. Yep. Some sort of UN statement, no doubt.
Probably along the lines of, "in the past, some have been willing to take action when democracy is threatened (look to the left, offer inappropriate smile). Others have not shared this vision (gotta say "vision").

"But to our many long-time friends accross the globe I say that we must put aside our past disagreements and work together (look to right)... in the cause... (lean, smirk)....of liberty."

In other words, something designed to make the administration look like a champion of international cooperation, asking a troublesome friend (the UN) to stop being so dern mean.

16. British papers suggested a week or so ago Blair & Bush agreed to
reveal evidence justifying the war and the occupation shortly after the beginning of Sept...

But the effort will be aimed at proving the following 7 points:

1 Saddam had the capacity to have an interest
2 in developing WMD programs
3 that could have led to designing
4 and producing weapons
5 that would have been used during some future 45 minute notice
6 to threaten the strategic interests (oil)
7 and security (access to oil) of the United States (oil plutocracy),
"civilization" (oil corporations), and global free trade (oil
extraction).

Which in the missing Cheny Energy Task Force papers simply reads the US cannot allow Saddam to maintain control of oil production using his military dictatorship.
