On a See-Saw of Hope and Despair
It's sad. People live in fear and choose incompetence and bullshit over hope and reason. I do not mean to bring anyone "down" or to be "negative" but I feel like all that we have left is the ability to communicate those feelings and to hope America will come to its senses. It is depressing to see a press that is incapable of defining what is happening before our very eyes.

One day, the see-saw goes up and there is a glimmer of hope that our nation will see thru the bullshit and incompetence. The next day, the see-saw goes down and all hope seems to disappear again. It is so important that we not give up during these trying times. Without your words and your reason, the thread may unravel.

1. It's so hard to even speak of it
when some of the people that I love lower their eyes and walk away when I mention the war. If there is a comment, it's "I don't like to talk about politics."

If this war is "politics," that's an indication that something is wrong.

of young terribly injured Iraqi kids on main stream media. Most Americans think the Iraqi war is a big video game.

5. That will happen?
Doubtful, but would they even watch, or turn away?

6. I know it will never happen,
but I think if it did, maybe people would wake up.

4. cheer up....remember 'nothing fail like success
when you're working for the devil!'
look at the situ in 2 ways 1) georgebushamerica is really truly the ugliest thing since hitler's germany, and the success of the devils is its own punishment... or 2) georgebushamerica is just a mediawhore fiction: no one voted for geebush, very few listen to rush limbah-humbug or watch fox/cnn/kakaka news etc...only a few million people voted for geeb but the right is so in control of the medium and the herd is so distracted by worry, and the thieves are throwing billions at their cause....well you get the drift....one day everybody will wake up and say 'let bygones be bygones' and use the bushnazi tricks against the bushnazi....limbah-humbug will die of a sudden fall, brite hum will flee the law after getting nailed for child porn (the ring will include thousands of the too obvious bushevik mediawhores..all will be hunted down and many will die from falls from chairs, hi heels etc)
people compare today to the 30's and hitler, but the comparison fails on too many levels...skepticism is almost a mantra of political awareness, and stupid people are stupid even to the users of stupidity

7. Reality will kick in hard for people in denial
Some folks have a steep learning curve ahead....

It sounds selfish, but look to taking care of #1: batten down the hatches, pay down debt, possibly convert assets to euros. At the rate Bushco is going, they'll implode within a few years.
