Karma is our friend.
Sometimes there are forces too strong to fight alone. Greed, capitalism, and Party politics are examples of those forces. Like a flood or a hurricane, you can only seek shelter until it passes. It is more powerful than you.

Look for the humor in the disaster. It is humor that feeds the soul. For example, the Bernie Kerik story is "humorous" - because it shines a bright light on the "morality" of this White House. And there is none.

Rest your bodies and your minds. Give Karma a chance to work for you. There is a force beyond ourselves. It is more powerful than all of us. It seeks justice and truth, not revenge. Think good and beautiful thoughts.

2. hey
Having the Bush administration in power is like flying in economy class with a baby in back of you kicking and screaming and you can't do a damn thing about it.

--Ignots Pistachio

The public will believe anything, so long as it is not founded on truth.

--Edith Sitwell (1887 - 1964)

Bush has one of the emptiest faces in America. He looks to have no more depth than spit on a rock. It could be that the most incisive personal crime committed by George Bush is that he probably never said to himself, "I don't deserve to be president." You just can't trust a man who's never been embarrassed by himself. The vanity of George W. stands out with every smirk. He literally cannot control that vanity. It seeps out of every movement of his lips, it squeezes through every tight-lipped grimace. Every grin is a study in smugsmanship.

--Norman Mailer

3. Thanks for the smile, Kentuck
It's good to reflect on that idea when you feel depleted. Take a breather and then return to action to do what you can do to help karma along.

The Sledgehammer of Karma will find its Shrubbery and it will be a moment of divine retribution.

4. Kentuck, you are right
to find peace, one must start by finding it inside one's own heart. To find justice, be justice in your personal actions. Follow the teachings of the prophets of whatever spiritual path you are on, for they basically say the same thing: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

May you be filled with Light in this time of darkness.

5. The evil we face from the Bush administration and supporters can only be
fought in the spiritual realm because they control the natural realm. But Karma is a bitch!
