The Republican Secret Plan for Domination
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 10:50 AM by ck4829
Yesterday, I saw a site linked from a DU post which said Republicans planned to kill of 90% of the Human population and replace us with Robot workers.

The Real Plan is a lot more realistic and a lot more frightening.

There is no link to a site that says this. What I say is obvious, you just need to sit back and think about it for a few seconds and realize what I said is true.

There is no order in which I list these.

1. Republicans must completely control the Media. We already see Conservatives coming together with the media. Fox News, Sinclair Broadcasting, the Clear Channel, and all the Rush Limbaugh's and Sean Hannity's of the world. If the media has just one Al Franken, just one Michael Moore, just one Liberal person, do you know what means? The Media is too Liberal.

2. Nationalism must be combined with Religion. You see all this legislation that is trying to be passed, the Constitution Restoration Act, the Religious Liberties Restoration Act, the Clear Channel with their billboard saying "One Nation Under God". This hypes up Nationalism and makes it inseparable from Religion. This Religious-Nationalism also allows for stages 3 and 4.

3. Paint Muslims as Scapegoats. Stage 2 is already going to make Muslims look unpatriotic. The Republicans also have an enemy to always point a finger at when something goes wrong. They don't have to say all Muslims are bad, but what they do say is that all bad people are Muslims. Ann Coulter has said it herself "Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslim".

4. Paint Atheists, people who are wary of Nationalism, etc. as Scapegoats. This allows for Republicans to lay blame on their other Enemy, the Liberal. The vast majority of Atheists, people who do not think Nationalism is such a great idea, people who are in favor of separation of Church and State are Liberals. So this allows for #5.

5. Paint Liberals as Traitors. This is where the real bad stuff starts. People will start to believe the Lies. "If what Fox News says is true, than that must mean Liberals are America Haters." There will be a vast and powerful effort from Brain-washed Conservatives to ban Liberals and Muslims from any position in Government, because "They hate America."

6. National Security must be more important than anything else. To the Republicans and their worshippers, there are too many 'traitors' running around in America. They must be dealt with.

7. Everything good and wholesome is tied to Conservatism. Moral Values, Family Values, Patriotism are only values that a Conservative can believe in.

8. Imposing the Dictatorship. There is a bill being introduced into Congress that will eliminate the 22nd Amendment. This bill will be kept under wraps until the 'liberal' media and Religious-Nationalism (and if we are banned from Government) will elevate Bush to the status in which he can do no wrong and he is linked to God. In a worst case scenario, the 'liberal' media will say Bush can do miracles. I personally don't expect that though. The other part of this, is that this will not be an Autocracy, it will be a Republican Oligarchy complete with a Republican Media, Republican Religion, and probably a Death Squad to occasionally silent the more vocal Dissenters.

That's it, that is the plan for their Domination and the end of American Democracy.

4. Frightening
but it sure is increasingly likely on the road that we now travel. I hope America will wake up before it is too late, but I am not sure what it will take.

6. "The Fundamentalist Papers"
This is a continuation of a piece that was written for a 'dystopia' thread in the new Writing forum. Yes, it's a nightmare scenerio, to be sure. But, if the fundamentalists are allowed and even encouraged to continue their agenda, it is a nightmare we could see coming to pass here.
From: The Diary of Dan Frank

Outside Ithaca, NY. In the year of our Bush 2007

The Fundamentalist Papers
The entire purpose of The Fundamentalist Papers was to gain popular support for the then-proposed ReConstitution. Some would call it the most significant public-relations campaign in history; it was, in fact, the bedrock document for the secularization of the United States as a sovereign Christian nation.

If enough of us are writing these things down, perhaps a record will remain. That will have to be reason enough to continue.

By the time The Fundamentalist Papers, as they came to be known, were enacted into law, we knew it had become inevitable. The perverse and parasitic marriage between wealthy men controlling virtually the entire economy–including virtually all news and entertainment–though their metastacizing corporations and the terrified and enraged masses ready to remake the nation in their "Christian" vision was locked in holy stone.

In the months following the nuke attack in South Florida and the LNG explosions in the Pacific Northwest, a panicked populace was artfully driven into the arms of the most aggressive of the evangelical conglomerates, Our God's America (OGA). OGA's leaders, Pat Roberston and Jerry Falwell, the twin pillars of American christian hypocrisy, stated their organization's goals unequivocally–the restoration of the country's fundamental Christian foundation.

History, be damned!

...to be continued?
