"Fix-the-Vote" Feeney attacks Pelosi on ETHICS???
Talk about misdirection!--

“We have people in our conference who want to go after Nancy Pelosi, who has violated federal election law and has been fined,” said Rep. Tom Feeney (R-Fla.), who was a critic of the ethics committee and a strong defender of DeLay during the ethics controversy that embroiled him before the election.

“To the extent that she’s violated federal law, she’s brought into question the integrity of the House,” Feeney said. “We have members who would love to see us retaliate by going after Nancy Pelosi.” Feeney declined to name members who want to target Pelosi.

He said that he opposes such a move because it would lead to “tit-for-tat political attacks” and a “frenzy of partisan attacks.” Feeney said he would prefer reforms to make it more difficult for lawmakers to file mischievous, politically motivated complaints.

The Federal Election Commission fined Pelosi’s political operation $21,000 last year for collecting and distributing funds in excess of campaign-finance limits through two leadership political action committees: PAC to the Future and Team Majority.

1. You might be misinterpreting what Feeney is doing.

He's basically giving Pelosi a warning. He's saying, You come after me, and look what I can do to you. That's the reason why nothing ever changes in our country. Because these bastards know how to make it personal and make sure no one has the high ground from which to formulate an attack. That's probably why they freaked out when Hilary looked into classified(?) folders -- was that Filegate? Because that's how Washington works.

It's not just ethic bribery. It's politics as usual. In the Dem party, the one they go after to railroad any Dem cohesion is Kennedy. He's always the first one they try to seduce and always the first to buckle.

The question is, is this really for the Dem party to resolve? Or is the movement behind exposing voter fraud really in the hands of the people? Kerry, by stepping out may have done himself a disservice, but it may have done the country some good because people are realizing they don't need leaders anymore. They can do without, rather than to accept what we have to chose from.
