The most intelligent statement from a freeper...
..that I have ever read (Nick Danger, you JUST realized that it isn't about suppressing Dem vs. Repuke, its about controlling ALL of us!):

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1239530/posts

<snip>

To: Mike Fieschko
"FBI yesterday seized a pair of UK servers used by Indymedia, the independent newsgathering collective, after serving a subpoena in the US on Indymedia's hosting firm, Rackspace. Why or how remains unclear."

Back in the days of Janet Reno, we used to worry that this would happen to us. I don't think we should cheer too much over this. If they can do it to them, they can do it to us.

4. Actually, I think that would be a very naive thing to say
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 12:59 PM by depakid
Members of far right would stab any progressive in the back at the first chance they got. These folks aren't at all interested in principle and have proven time and again to lack even the slightest integrity.

The "gee whiz" realization on the part of one freeper doesn't change those basic facts.

6. Now if he would just make the next logical leap and finally realize
that it DID NOT HAPPEN in the days of Janet Reno, but while his beloved puppets of the neocon death cult held sway, he might actually become a fully evolved human being.

9. Freepers aren't stupid
Edited on Sat Dec-18-04 02:34 PM by Tinoire
When Clinton was in office they were rightly concerned about a lot of neo-Liberal policies running amuck. We simply weren't paying attention because it never dawned on us that our own were not what we wanted to think. If more people in both parties wake up, we have a fighting chance of re-taking our government.

People need to really start thinking about the origins of the sorry state both parties are in. Gone are the days of good old time Republicans and good old time Democrats.

10. I believe it....
Well, sorta. The problem with them is they are only in tune with the misdeeds done by the "other side". So lets mutate stupid into naive, hmmm... whats a good word to describe sheep if not stupid?

I aim to remain rational and objective (regadless of the fact that my voter registration card says "D" and have voted dem since I was 18) and see things for what they are, after all both national parties are corporate...don't want to be blinded by party affiliations!
