IF HUAC is brought back, they should only go after Regressives
My thing for the past week or two has been to talk about HUAC, and this RW Loony who wants to revive it.

Now I believe that HUAC can be used to make America a better place.

Treason and Sedition, this is what it is all about. What is it?

Treason obviously means you go out against your country.

Sedition is giving comfort to the enemy.

Who have been the bigger traitors? Who has given more comfort to the enemy?

George W. Bush has been a Divider at home, yet he has been a Uniter of terrorists all around the Muslim world.

Pat Robertson has engaged in business deals (involving diamonds) with Charles Taylor. That's right, the bloodthirsty murderer who until recently was the dictator of Liberia. As if that wasn't enough, Taylor himself was engaged in deals, once again involving diamonds, with Al Qaeda.

If you read Osama bin Laden's 'Letter to America', you will find that Osama voices opposition to 'separation of Religion from Policies' (Separation of Church and State), Rights for GLBT people, and he also thinks Bill Clinton was immoral.

Now, who is giving more comfort to Al Qaeda? Liberals who support Separation of Church and State, Rights for GLBT people, and the majority of us (myself included) who Bill was a very good President and had more value for human life than the current 'president'.

OR

Is it the Conservatives who give more comfort to bin Laden and his band of followers? Last time I checked, Conservatives agree with Osama in his letter to America.

Before you Conservatives act to bring back HUAC, I think you should look at your party, look at your leadership, look at the religious leaders in the Christian Right, and there you will see the only people who need to be considered as traitors to America.

2. If HUAC comes back we'll be making our comments from behind bars.
I get your post but the idea of a new HUAC going after themselves is a bit too farfetched to imagine.

3. The post is 1/2 satire
I do not support bringing back HUAC, but I am being honest when I believe the leaders on the right are traitors to America

4. Oh, I know. Just a comment on HUAC's real role.
Fascists don't investigate fascists.
