Isn't this also related to McBride's surprise victory over Janet Reno in the 2002 Dem Governor primary which put Jeb against a slow talking, terrible debating (Shocker. I couldn't BELIEVE that McBride was the freaking best trial lawyer in Florida, don't they have to be great debators?) , trial lawyer, instead of a tough as nails former USAG? Wasn't a Dem House member making this claim last month? Isn't this the same guy, the same computer fraud?

This story is accusing TOM FEENEY of treason and Jeb's administration of croney bid processes.

Why isn't this all over the place????

1. Because he can't prove Feeney used it.

Curtis only wrote a prototype for Feeney, no proof it was used. Curtis can't speculate on that. There's no smoking gun.

I think, anyway.

(also on McBride, when I saw him after hearing so much about him I was VERY disappointed. That's the best lawyer they got in those parts?)

the military-industrial machine is trying to discredit anyone who questions our perfect, sacred democracy!

3. I think you already know why GE, Murodch, Viacom, Eisner, Clear Channel
and the rest of big media haven't picked it up.

7. It's about starting the process.
And I have to be honest, I don't have all of the facts in this case, apparently you do?

13. I wonder if people like Curtis do these things just so that they....
can get paid off by rich Republicans? Who better to destroy the evidence?

6. IIRC the vote totals in SE FL were not what was expected.
It was tight race but I do remember some Reno supporters claiming fraud after the 2002 vote. At the time I ignored them because I had in fact supported McBride.

11. yes, not just the win, but more the margin of victory
jeb won by a huge amount over mcbride and i think that amount was more of a surprise than just winning itself.

9. If Feeney were a Democrat, this story would be everywhere
regardless of whether it were true or not.

"Feeney has been accused ...." is all the story would need to say

10. Reno was a HORRIBLE candidate....
She drove around the state in this broken down old red truck, didn't raise enough money, didn't run much television advertising, wasn't a great speaker (mostly owing to her parkinsons illness), didn't even have a very good staff.

God, she was just horrible.

12. Yes, Janet
didn't run a good campaign, but I firmly believe McBride was Hyped,
came for no-where, rotten debater and still beat Reno. At the time I really wondered why? She would have beaten Jeb and I think the
fixers (I'll call them) knew it.
I also felt this when Kerry "won". Basically came from no-where also. I think he won because he was the easiest to trash during the campaign for President.
