a history of pentecostalism from a pentecostal perspective

anyone wanting some insight into this part of the religious right should read this and note the names and places of the early leaders....also the claim that it is the largest or next to largest christian movement in the world today.....also some explanation of how long pentecostalism has been active in Africa and South America and in Europe

many of those familiar with the general history of christianity know little or nothing about the history of pentecostalism

Also, there's pentecostal then and there's pentecostal now. Very big difference. The old timers were not of the opinion that worshipping God equated worldly wealth. Today's believe firmly that possession of money is an outward indicator of a successful religious life.

The old timers would never have done the things that today's religious right does.
