Should a man on the Colorado town council be recalled because thinks the words "under God" in the pledge of allegiance violate the separation of church and state and he doesn't stand during the pledge:

2. I have to say it every day at school

I teach elem school. When we say the pledge, I just pause after "one nation" and pick it up again at "indivisible". I have been doing this for a couple years now. No one - none of the kids or adults - has ever said anything to me about my not saying "under God". I don't even think they notice.

It's a lot safer way to protest.
