1. Sigh.
We have already abandoned this war to the trash heap of the American sub concious. Support for our troops has been down graded to buying 1.99$ yellow ribbon bumper stickers to put on our cars. That graphic is troubling.

3. Is that true?
:wtf:But I bet Hitler wasn't picked Man of the Year, two years in a row. That's what's really disturbing about this whole thing.

4. one of the signs of times is that dictators demand a cult to their
personalities ....... and dang if this isn't what Bush pére demands for Bush the son ... and double dang if this isn't what Bush the son also demands for himself... dang, dang, dang. Triple dang. I can't stand any of the bushes.

7. As I recall, Bush wasn't either.
He was picked as man of the year for 2001 and 2004. 2003 was The American Soldier, which is hardly a Man of the Year (but then, I seem to recall something about Pac-Man...anyway...). Can't recall 2002.

Hitler was only picked once, though, as I recall. I think. I dunno.

11. After the Florida billboard from Clear Channel
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 12:29 AM by Eric J in MN
which said "Our Leader" near a smiling phot of Bush, some people compared it to the smiling photos of Stalin.

There are billboard photos here, though not a Stalin comment:

But there is a Stalin comparison in the comments here:

13. I don't think most of the Red State
Morons would know who Stalin was, or what he did. Plus, He was a Communist, which is the opposite of what Hitler was and Bush is, a Fascist.

9. I wouldn't be surprised.
The smart ones have figured out that WMDs/removing Saddam/liberating Iraqis is all a bunch of BS, so unless they wanna go nuts, they have to try and fight for something. And why not "just to stay alive until I can get back to my honey"?
