The irony with these pharmaceutical problems
Lately the pharmaceutical industry has had to recall their products because of unknown harmful side effects and other issues.

These people are against FDA regulation. But when it becomes known there are defects in these medications, they lose revenue having to take these medications of the shelves, and their stock price plummets.

Maybe regulation isn't so bad after all.

1. What? Regulation?
Then they wouldn't be free to use their enormous fortunes to advertise their nonworking medicine! Everyone should have that freedom!

2. They made billions off of the drugs while they were on the market.
This is why Bush signed laws to try and keep people from suing over FDA approved drugs.

4. If they had been regulated
correctly in the first place none of this would have happened.
It is the profit at any cost mentality. I understand the profit motive and how it works in the economy, but SHEESH. How much is enough any way?????
