2. I like what you have done ...

... but I take issue with this statement:

"A group of right wing ideologues that had declared war on the entire human population of this planet in terms of our physical security, environment, human and civil rights was re-elected to power."

From my perspective, those wingnuts were "selected" in 2000, and seized power in a coup in 2004. * was never "elected," and, therefore, he could never be "re-elected."

It's a minor point, but you might want to rephrase that.

I'll likely end up rephrasing more than that - I'm waiting for feedback from the group too and I've a large constituency to please. We'll see what people want to go with - it will likely end up with what displeases the fewest rather than what pleases the most but...such are many things in life. Thanks for your help.
