Globalization and war, tonight, 8pmEST, C-SPAN

C-SPAN is hosting a special program with Thomas P.M. Barnett, author of the book "The Pentagon's New Map." This work is a study of how globalization affects U.S. national security. In this show we'll air a tape of Barnett giving a briefing that inspired the book, followed by an hour of your LIVE viewer calls.

A registered Democrat, but he calls himself a Tony Blair style Democrat. His father ran as a progressive in Wisconsin.

He's a military war gamer. It's Barnett's view of what's going on in the world, but he's in the middle of everything that's going on. He's said to be one of, if not the best, power point presentation thinker in Washington today.

These are serious people, with serious goals. I suggest anyone who can should watch it.
