Large pro-Bush banner outside restaurant in my hometown
It reads, "Bush cuts taxes, we cut prices. And I approve this message" Or words to that effect.

That had been my favorite restaurant, too.

3. Don't eat there.
If they take the sign down, or a windstorm knocks it down, go eat there immediately. Until then, boycott.

They didn't mention whose taxes were lowered. Were yours? I doubt it.

8. Write them an anonymous letter
stating your aversion to eating anywhere that advertises *. Mention that the restaurant must be doing REALLY good if it can afford to alienate (40 - 60 %) of its potential customers, depending if you're in a red or blue state.
Say that you and others like you are staying away.
Bet his business is off from last year....
Bet he'll take the sign down, or go down with it....

10. if it isn't pricey and you have some extra spending $$, ask if they sell
gift certificates for meals; purchase what you can and give them to really desparate homeless guys.

11. Pro Bush Banner -
I would complain to the owner. I wouldn't eat there anymore. However, here in NYC there are plenty of other restaurants should one displease. I don't know your location. But, complain and certainly if the owner doesn't take the sign down and recognize your feelings, well find another place to eat.

Anyone who can come up with some cockroaches?

Sure would be a shame for a restaurant to become infested.

15. By how much??
I am curious to know what exactly they cut prices on and how much they cut the prices.

It's probably just a marketing ploy. I doubt the average family will save more than a buck fifty. It might bring more people in who think they're saving so much money or it might backfire by turning off the customers who lose their appetites the minute they see Bush's name on the billboard. I know I wouldn't eat there.
