Quick ad for tonite's local news:"IRAQ on the brink of Civil War-what does
the future hold for the United States" - more at 11PM....

Hmmm...first time I've heard any media on TV actually use the civil war comment and especially in reference to it being on the "brink"...

Things are bad there, we've known that, but how much of the "real situation" there are we hearing about?

1. The news is now on...."IRAQ is sliding towards an all out Civil War"....
...they are talking about how some Iraqi election officials were pulled out on to the street and shot point blank in the head....

On edit:

I don't think we have even seen the worst yet...I have a really bad feeling about things in the next month.....how many are going to die?

:scared:

2. I noticed this today too. Like it's some big revelation!
Hell, we've talked about Iraqi civil war here for over a year. Of course, the media wasn't interested.

4. we need to build bigger prisons in Iraq and give the death penaly to
anyone who even looks like they are a threat.
All intellectuals must be jailed as well.
Their ideas may pollute the situation.
We can have no civil war in our "terror-tories"

After all, it's our oil dammit!
We must kill without hesitation all who oppose us so that we may bring stability to the region.

That'll show'm !
Bring it on !

5. Why don't they outlaw...
Gay Marriage, that fixes EVERYTHING! No more polluted air or water, it saves all hetero-marriages, it brings world peace, and puts a chicken in every pot, right?

6. I'll bet Allawi and Santorum are working on this right now.
No gay marriage in Iraq! After all, when Iraq becomes our 51st state we dont want the Iraqi-American families to go thru the hell the gays have put us through back here in the good ol' hetero-USA.
Remember - it's Achmed and Eve, not Achmed and Steve.
