Earlier this morning, I saw the controversial ad for the United Church of Christ. I could see how it would make some of the mainstream media a tad bit uncomfortable.
Then at work, our local oldies station played an ad for the local UCC twice. I loved it; I smiled as I knew to whom the ad was directed. The ad starts out with a small girl singing the carol, "O come All Ye Faithful." Then the announcer breaks in with the sentence, "That is the way we sing it at the UCC. We don't sing it as "O Come Some Of Ye Faithful." Couldn;t help myself by chuckling.

1. Yes, the ads are right on the money in terms of pointing out... |

...the exclusivity that "the other church(es)" convey by keeping certain people out. I can hardly wait for the contra ads from the other church (es) which will point out their obvious hypocrisies.

It's the kind of message spiritually minded people have been longing for. Well done.
