Who else has had CNN International News (cable tv) shut down?
My cable tv provider told me that CNNFN and CNNIN are being rolled off cable across the country. I guess I'll have to stick with BBC news on tv and NPR (dubious at times) and the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.

They said they started shutting them down a few at a time starting 12/15.

1. I lost it. I heard them say they were going off but---
I figured it was that show. I am going to call the cable Co. and ask what happened.

3. Yep, I have Dish, and CNNFN went off the air on the 15th
When you go to the guide now, it has a message that the channel is now off air.

4. Mine too, on December 15.
I didn't know about it until Saturday, when I was about to settle in for a weekend of real news and it was gone. I thought it was because Rupert Murdoch recently acquired my satellite provider and I was going to switch to DISH, but I guess they are dropping it on DISH too.

5. CNN Int'l very different
CNN International is nothing like our CNN. It's much more like the BBC. I'm happy to see it coming. But then, I can't get BBC either. CNN Int'l is much more the real thing. In a perfect world, we'd have access to both.

6. We can still get NewsWorld International
They have CBC, BBC and other international news, documentaries and world music programs. It's on DirectTV.

7. In a free country we would have access to both 24/7.
Maybe it's time to start writing letters again.
