Another person with pre-knowledge of JFK assasination--Rose Cheramie
James R. Duffy, Conspiracy: Who Killed JFK (New York: SPI Books, 1992), 201, citing Patricia Orr's report, "Rose Cheramie" in the Report of the select Committee On Assassinations, US House of Representatives, 95th Congress, 2nd Session, Appendix to Hearings, vol. X (Washington, GPO, 29 March 1979), hereafter known as Orr Report.

Many of us have heard of CIA agent Richard Nagell who had pre-knowledge of Kennedy assasination.

Another person with pre-knowledge
Rose Cheramie on 20 November 1963 found dazed and bruised on a Lousiana Hwy. told officials that Kennedy was going to be killed. She said she traveled from Florida to Dallas and met "two Italian looking men".....she told state police officer Francis Fruge all of this . On Nov. 27th Fruge interviewed her again. She was a stripper at Jack Ruby's nightclub and that she had seen Ruby and Oswald together. She said she was part of call girl operation between Dallas and Miami. She reported that her escorts were to meet a seaman in Dallas on a drug deal, Customs in Galveston confirmed that indeed this seaman was being investigated for drug smuggling.....then it gets wierd.......

....But the state narcotics bureaus in Texas and Oklahoma found Cheramie's information "erroneous in all respects", and when HSCA asked Customs to produce the agents she had named, and their reports, Customs officials said that neither the agents or the reports could be found. (pp203)
The HSCA let this promising lead drop without attempting to talk to Customs agents like William Hughes, who vividly recalls "Nutty Nate" Durham as the feckless agent in charge of Galveston in 1963. Nate may have been alive in 1978 but the CIA (READ BUSH. Poppy's involvement in CIA was vital to keeping the lid on all this) did not allow Customs to identify him or provide his reports to Congress. The reason for this subterfuge comes as no surprise: some of Nutty Nate's colleagues on the Galveston case were CIA officers operating under Customs cover, as part of a special unit organized in Houston by Dave Ellis. Members of this unit facilitated the activities of anti-Castro drug smuggling terrorist groups in the US, which is why the FBI also "decided to pursue the case no further".
Neither Customs, nor the Coast Guard, nor the FBI, nor any State narcotics bureau revealed the existence of Galveston drug ring to the FBN.. But Fruge did tell congressional investigators that the Cuban Revolutionary Council's delegate in New Orleans, Sergio Arcacha Smith, may have been tone of the men who had accompanied and abused Rose Cheramie. Smith's CRC office was locted in the same building as Oswald's notional Fair Play for Cuba office at 544 Camp Street in New Orleans, and Guy Banister, a former FBI agent in Chigo, had gotten Smith his office space. Smithe and one of Banister's employees, David Ferrie, "Were also believed to have ties with organized crim figure Carlos Marcello. " FN 42.
Here the plot thickens, for Banister was the FBI district supervisor in 1945 and 1946. Banister moved on to become deputy chief of police in New Orleans, and then opened a private detective firm that served as a CIA front. A certified right-wing fanatic, Banister was member of the Anti-Communist League of the Caribbean (funded in part by Anastasio Somoa, as well as Louisiana coordinator of the racist Minutemen. Working for Banister was David Ferrie, a pilot who knew Oswald and worked for Carlos Marcello. Ferrie claimed that he drove to Houston to ice skate on the day Kennedy was killed and to Galveston to go duck hunting two days later when Ruby killed Owald. This him on the same path Rose Cheramied intended to folow--bizarre coincidence that suggests that he was involved in transporting and paying conspirators. ......"

Good expansion of Rose Cheramie: Multiple corroborations from officialdom on her preknowledge:

After being found and hospitalized.......
But apparently, at the time of the assassination Cheramie appeared fine. The word spread throughout the hospital that she had predicted Kennedy’s murder in advance. Dr. Wayne Owen, who had been interning from LSU at the time, later told the Madison Capital Times that he and other interns were told of the plot in advance of the assassination. Amazingly, Cheramie even predicted the role of her former boss Jack Ruby because Owen was quoted as saying that one of the interns was told "…that one of the men involved in the plot was a man named Jack Rubinstein." (2/11/68) Owen said that they shrugged it off at the time. But when they learned that Rubinstein was Ruby they grew quite concerned. "We were all assured that something would be done about it by the FBI or someone. Yet we never heard anything." (Ibid.) In fact, Cheramie’s association with Ruby was also revealed to Dr. Weiss. For in an interview with him after the assassination, Rose revealed that she had worked as a drug courier for Jack Ruby. (Memo of Frank Meloche to Jim Garrison, 2/23/67) In the same memo, there is further elaboration on this important point:....

Then Rose Cheramie died

Fruge report:

APRIL 4, 1967
STATE OF LOUISIANA
PARISH OF ST. LANDRY
CITY OF EUNICE
Officer J. A. ANDREWS, Texas Highway Patrol, was interviewed by us, relative to the death of one MELBA CHRISTINE MARCADES, alias ROSE CHERAMIE , w/fm, d.o.b. 11-14-23, LSP #256-375, FBI #234-7922.
Officer ANDREWS stated that subject died of injuries received from an automobile accident on Hwy. #155, 1.7 miles East of Big Sandy, Upshur County, Texas, at 3:00 AM, on Sept. 4, 1965. Subject died at the hospital in Gladewater, Gregg County, Texas. The inquest was held by Justice of the Peace ROSS DELAY, Prec. #3, Gregg County, Texas.
The accident was reported to Officer ANDREWS by the operator of the car, after he had taken the subject to the hospital. ANDREWS stated that the operator related that the victim was apparrently lying on the roadway with her head and upper part of her body resting on the traffic lane, and although he had attempted to avoid running ove her, he ran over the top part of her skull, causing fatal injuries. An investigation of the physical evidence at the scene of the accident was unable to contradict this statement. Officer ANDREWS stated that due to the unusual circumstances, mainly time, location, injuries received and lack of prominent physical evidence, he attempted to establish a relationship between the operator of the vehicle and the victim to determine if any foul play was involved. This resulted negative.
It should be noted that Hwy. #155 is a Farm to Market Road, running parallel to US Hwys. #271 and #80. It is our opinion, from experience, that if a subject was hitch-hiking, as this report wants to indicate, that this DOES NOT run true to form. It is our opinion that the subject would have been on one of the US Highways.
ANDREWS stated that although he had some doubt as to the authenticity of the information received, due to the fact that the relatives of the victim did not pursue the investigation, he closed it as accidental death.

Officer ANDREWS----
We wish to further state that fingerprint identification shows that deceased subject, MELBA CHRISTINE MARCADES, is the same person as subject ROSE CHERAMIE , who was in custody, by us, from November 21, 1963, through November 28, 1963, at which time she stated that she once worked for JACK RUBY as a stripper, which was verified, and that RUBY and LEE HARVEY OSWOLD were definitely associated and known to be, as she stated, "bed partners." She further referred to RUBY as alias "PINKEY."
Other statements made by subject, relative to your inquiry, are hear-say, but are available, upon your request.

Rose Cheramie was found dead on 4th September, 1965. At first it appeared she had been involved in a road accident. Later it was argued that she had been shot in the head before being run over by by a car in order to disguise the original wound. However, the Louisiana State Police Memo reported: "Cheramie died of injuries received from an automobile accident on a strip of highway near Big Sandy, Texas, in the early morning of September 4, 1965. The driver stated Cheramie had been lying in the roadway and although he attempted to avoid hitting her, he ran over the top of her skull, causing fatal injuries. An investigation into the accident and the possibility of a relationship between the victim and the driver produced no evidence of foul play. The case was closed"

1. I feel strongly that organized crime did in Kennedy
It has the look and feel of a mob hit. JFK got all kinds of help from organized crime in 1960 and then turned on them once he was president.

3. They were certainly involved
and Jack Ruby was the giveaway. Obviously, they were afraid Oswald would talk under pressure, and Ruby was sent to shut him up. He'd been diagnosed with cancer and knew his days were numbered, and was the guy with the least to lose by doing a public murder and then keeping silent.

We'll probably not live to see just who was involved in the larger conspiracy, but Ruby is a giveaway to mob involvement. The mob had lost a lot when Castro kicked them out of Havana. Kennedy had outraged them by cancelling US support for the insanely underplanned Bay of Pigs invasion. That's certainly adequate motive for a mobster, and the cowboy faction of the CIA was outraged as well. Whether or not the CIA was involved is what we probably won't live long enough to find out.

4. Why did the CIA obstruct the HSCA's access to the records? That shows that
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 06:02 PM by Carl Brennan
they were trying to protect something. Namely their link to two of the prime suspects: Trafficante and Marcello. The former was the CIA's point man in Cuba and a notorious drug kingpin.

2. Who benefitted?
I've always thought it's usually who benefitted the most. I don't think LBJ knew anything about it, but the people who wanted him in the office when Kennedy stole it away always carried a grudge. There were alot of anti-Kennedy feelings in Texas. They didn't think he would be hard enough on communism. It also had to be partially within the government to pull off the coverup.

6. There are so many books on the subject,
even the bad ones have information that was not listened to.
Seems like now when we have alot of politicans so into politics that the truth is not important to them. The world wants to know and maybe a few hundred people don't want that to happen. No one is above the law forever no matter how well they think they cover thier tracks. No case is ever closed as long as the people have imagination and want answers. If you buy what the politicans or so called experts want you to buy about Kennedy,9/11 or whatever is going on you should be a fundy who thinks they know all the answers .

7. I had foreknowledge, too, after it happened
And I wasn't even born. My mother, though, I think was involved. She grew up a block away from where Oswald lived in New Orleans, and she dated a man who broke up with her to go to Cuba to fight for Castro. Her father was a known anarchist. So she's the missing link. She must be very important, too, because THEY never snuffed her.

8. "This is when it's going to happen!"
From Murder in Dealey Plaza, pg 34:

Rose Cheramie, convalescing at a state hospital in Louisiana, is watching television with several nurses when a spot report about JFK's motorcade comes on. Cheramie says "This is when it's going to happen!" The nurses dismiss her remarks - until moments later. Cheramie has also told one of the hospital interns "that one of the men involved in the plot was a man named Jack Rubinstein."

10. Rose

FBI agents decided to pursue the case no further.(103) The FBI
indicated agents did not know of the death of their informant on September 4,
1965, occurring just 1 month after she had contacted the FBI. Louisiana State
Police investigating Cheramie's fatal accident also apparently did not know of
the FBI's interest in her.
