Dubya: Troops were on mission of peace |
|
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=564&ncid=564&e=3&u=/nm/20041221/ts_nm/iraq_bush_dcWASHINGTON (Reuters) - A somber President Bush said on Tuesday U.S. troops killed in a deadly attack in northern Iraq were on a mission of peace as the heavy death toll presented him with a fresh challenge amid dwindling U.S. support for the war. <snip> "We just want them to know that the mission is a vital mission for peace." <more> our army's on a mission of peace??? could have fooled me........:wtf:

4. Correct me if I am wrong |

Peace does not involve invading another country on false pretenses. The intent being the establishment of a puppet government to maintain a cheap oil supply.
I though we were on a mission of imperialism, dammit, someone call the chimp.

a mission of peace, eh?
Well I suppose when protected by a barracade in Crawford and Camp David during ANOTHER one of his vacations, and when attending an inaugural obscenity to the tune of 60 million dollars spent on it, one could presumably think they are on a mission of peace, right. I should say peace and prosperity, although all they think of is prosperity.
I mean the whole gaddam family thinks they are on a mission of greedom and peace, right?
What better to portray peace than an inaugural ball(s) where troops and the military will be reviewed by, laughably, an AWOL Commander in Chief self proclaimed "war president"
I mean the whole Christmas thing in the White House, with forty one trees decorated by the invincable woman of exquistite taste and irrefutable grace, being given the honor of being the "nation's comforter", and a gingerbread contruction of the White house that took 150 pounds of flour to construct, is really an indication that all Bush wants is peace--amongst all men.
If it were not so sad, I would laugh my head off.
