Seems these kids want college classes to be dumbed down to the level of the EIB* Network or Fox 'News'...

1. If students are to be taught what they already think
then what is the point of college?

2. There is no recognized right to a college education
Good luck peddling "academic freedom" to a judge.

The only "academic freedom" they have is that if they don't like what they're being taught, they're free to withdraw and enroll somewhere else.

Gee, maybe I should have tried to sue my electronics professor who was always going on RW hate-radio inspired rants. :eyes:

Conservative students sue over academic freedom

(AP) — At the University of North Carolina, three incoming freshmen sue over a reading assignment they say offends their Christian beliefs.

In Colorado and Indiana, a national conservative group publicizes student allegations of left-wing bias by professors. Faculty get hate mail and are pictured in mock "wanted" posters; at least one college says a teacher received a death threat.

And at Columbia University in New York, a documentary film alleging that teachers intimidate students who support Israel draws the attention of administrators.

5. Ah, it is starting.
One of the few dangers to their propanda is the universities. Because of many views being presented there, our youth become progressive (because inclusiveness and tolerance and justice make sense). They control our television, radio and newspapers (the Right-wingers). Some of the areas they are having trouble with: satellite television, satellite radio and the internet (and the universities and colleges). Those are areas for the conservatives to attack. I'm worried about that. As Thom Hartmann says, we must stick together.

8. Freepers Sure Love to Claim Victimhood.
Such an "in" thing with them these days. "Christianity is under attack!", "Traditional family values is defiled!", and other histrionic whinings.
