Happy F'n Xmas to all the bastards in Congress
Hearing about the death news of today has sent me over an edge. The only reason the louse went into Fallujah was because he figured he had the election in the bag. Same for going forward with the useless election set for January.

If only two members of Congress had stepped forward to question the results formally by now, the soldiers who died may very well be alive right now. If Kerry had made a stink, things may have been different for the better.

But no! They have their precious careers to protect. I'm sick of the lot of them. As far as I'm concerned, the only brave person I know of in the public spotlight is Al Franken. He's there right now. And as for Congress? They can all jump right into hell because that's where they belong.

1. I am also out of whack with today's news
and the frustration is that NO ONE is calling this idiot on it.

NO ONE.

It is business as usual. Get along, nothing to see here.

In fact, the majority who voted for an insane war criminal, seem to think these young people died as brave heroes defending us against terrorism (of the terrorist Iraqi resistance) and against the hated brown Muslims and above all died defending our "freedoms".

They would be fine with the idea we need to use a nuke on them all.

2. I am beyond disgust
the horror of this maniac and the people who support him makes me feel like I am in an alternate universe. I hate this administration more then I can say but what I hate more is the cowed media and the American Sheeple who can't see beyond their fucking Giftmas holiday to see the bloodbath in Iraq for what it is...

14. But, but, but... keeping Christ in Christmas is
way more important. How can we have Millenium Crusade, if we don't have a standard bearer?

12. There are a handful. Don't forget Henry Waxman...
There are NO Senators, apparently, who can see past their careers and kickbacks.

4. Have you written your Reps and Senators today?
I did and I feel a lot better. I wasn't my usual nice self, I told them I was ashamed of them and they should be ashamed of themselves. SHAME ON THEM!!!!!

7. Attack on U.S. Base in Iraq Leaves 20 Dead
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&e=1&u=/ap/20041222/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iraq

"BAGHDAD, Iraq - An explosion tore through a soft-sided mess tent where U.S. soldiers were eating lunch Tuesday at a military base near the northern city of Mosul, blowing a hole in the ceiling and leaving the floor littered with trays of food and puddles of blood. Officials said at least 20 people were killed in one of the most devastating attacks against Americans in Iraq since the start of the war."

8. Oh
Thanks. I really thought you must be talking about something else, I guess because I don't see how 20 American soldiers dying at once is worse than 60 Iraqi policemen or 1,300 soldiers dying one or two at a time or 30,000 to 100,000 Iraqi civilians or the simple fact that our so-called leaders wanted any of it. Not to mention the fact that it's all right with so many people.

The whole thing sent me over the edge a long time ago.

9. Welcome to the real world.
They always increase their wages and benefits for their work.

What is their work?

Making sure laws are given special treatment to corporations.

And signing bills regarding citizens without bothering to read them first. (except for one person, the sole rejector of the original "Patriot Act".)

We haven't had a fair congress since 1980 and it's only gotten worse since.

And I'm amazed that "fair rights" gave people the right to record TV shows. (now add how corporate amerika has gotten congress and the FCC to force a 'broadcast flag' to HDTV to prevent recording and feel your blood boil.)

18. By now you know he's in the war zone with the troops
While we don't even have one Rep and one Senator who will stand up and formally question our fraudulent election. I've had with them all. They can collectively choke on their xmas dinner.

13. Actually, it's the bastard in the senate. I believe the number
of congressmen & women that sttod up on the issue of election fraud is fourtten, Includind Kucinich, Conyers & Jesse Jackson Jr. Although that still leaves a lot of bastards in both houses.

16. It takes one from each house to formally question the election results
One from the House and one from the Senate. No one has stepped up to say they would do it yet. So, nuts to all of them.

15. It's not just the war - there's a whole laundry list of things:
the Check 21 law - the biggest handout to the banking industry since the S&L bailouts
not reading bills before they're voted on
sending bills to a vote that are written by staffers - not the elected
soon-to-be passed SS reform
soon-to-be passed tort reform

It's gotten to the point where I wonder what's to be done.

17. I agree
And I've been disgusted since the homophobic, sadistic creep ran for president in 2000. But yesterday's horror snapped me like a twig. Thus my focus on Mosul and our fraudulent election. I'm sure you understand.
