* at the Kennedy Center Honors
Walter Cronkite made opening remarks and Caroline Kennedy made remarks about Mr. Cronkite. There was a standing ovation for Cronkite and the Chimperor did not participate. What an ass.

2. The man is graceless as well as
clueless. As a matter of fact " George the Lesser " might be an appropriate sobriquet.

4. LOL--
OMG! I totally forgot about that! What a friggin Moran! He probably doesn't know who half of the honorees and presenters are. Pickles looks like she put a blue bow around a burlap sack, and the honorees, all of which are quite liberal, just look surly.

Those Bastards! I heard he made several refrences to Beatty's, um...womanizing past and some attendees were offended. Let me guess who:eyes:

6. How that must have felt for * to have to sit there...
...with all the liberals on stage (Walter Cronkite, Caroline Kennedy at the beginning, Steven Spielberg, who supported Kerry) and all these non-GOP types being honored: women (Joan Sutherland, Ruby Dee), blacks (Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee), openly gay (Elton John) and Hollywood liberal (Warren Beatty). One crowd he definitely could not call his "base." The *s seemed like statues sitting there on a shelf.
