Will the media ever get around to pointing that ou? Bush is the "Commander in Chief."

It's as though Bush does not exist when things go wrong.

2. Saying the F word
It's Bush's Fault.

He is unchecked, unaccomplished, unelected and all the King's horses and all the King's media are afraid to point it out.

4. Not to make it sound like Rummy bears no accountability.
He does and I'm thinking about Fallujah among other things.

But, the Secretary of Defense is not responsible for coming up with a political vision after the primary objective is complete.

Bush wanted a plan to depose Saddam but never mentally got as far as winning the peace. Rumsfeld has become a fall guy for disaster and chaos when the real villain is none other than Bush himself.

5. Bush and Rummie
They are both responsible for the mess in Iraq, but as Defense Sec'y its Rummie's job to execute the war, once Bush has committed the troops to battle.

They both have blood on their hands.

6. The apologists seem to seesaw
"Surely you can't blame the Secretary of Defense for this."

"Surely you can't blame the Commander in Chief for this."
