Why does Worldnetdaily and Brit Hume hate the Lord?
Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 12:59 PM by gatorboy
I find it ironic that worldnetdaily and Fox News, both busy pushing stories about the lack of respect for Christmas and it's true meaning, seem to have forgotten one major rule when writing about Jesus or God....You always capitalize when you use His name in writing...

From Fox news:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,142178,00.html

From Worldnetdaily:

Perhaps before these people start to chastise others for not having respect for the true meaning of Christmas, they should go back to Sunday school and learn a few basics themselves...

1. Don't go after brit hume
He wears a suit and hasn't hit any major scandals yet. The uninformed masses still think he's "fair and balanced."

3. Respect for Christmas?
This time was not a religious holiday at all. It was originally a drunken orgy by Scandanavians until early Xians hijacked it for their own purposes.

4. I agree with capitalization
but the Psalms passage you highlighted refer to God rather than His prophet Jesus. Either way, the "his" should have been capitalized.

5. Thanks for the heads up!
I do remember when I was in Catholic school that if we didn't capitalize everytime, we'd get swatted.

That these schmucks are arrogant enough to judge others while not even realizing they do the very same thing chap my hide!
