What if a Fox News anchor decided the term "homicide bomber" was
ridiculous and decided not to use it? Would they be free to make this choice, or is such "trademark" terminology mandated through the organization? Do any of them break from this "party line"?

I thought I heard some anchor chick on their show actually say something different and "correct" herself to the trademark "homicide bomber" term today... I wasn't really listening so I couldn't be sure, it was on in the background in a work lounge area...

continued it.

4. I gues that implies that when the US kills
civilians that the civilians must not have been innocent.

7. What do you call the 9/11 terrorists?
Do you call them "suicide bombers" or "homicidal maniacs"?
How many people did they kill?

5. Bush dictates and they repeat it.

Homicide Bomber ws first coined by Bush and then FAUX decided it was catchy. Too bad they didn't start using my favorite Bushism: "Suiciders".

Can one of my fellow DUers please explain to me WTF a "Suicider" is?

On edit: I forgot about "Dead Enders". Jeez WTF is wrong with these "morans"

6. Check out "Outfoxed"
The documentary clearly shows what happens to FoxNews newsreaders who refuse to adopt the mandated vocabulary and talking points.

8. I also noticed.
It's never "insurgent" or "rebel" it's always "terrorist".

It's basically a form of right wing political correctness. Just like "Democrat party". They must have a special dictionary at fox.

9. Military targets.
If the Insurgents attack military targets are the Insurgents terrorists?

I recall that that the al Sadr Militia were not called terrorists. In fact,an al Sadr spokesperson spoke out against suicide bombers that killed Iraqis. Haven't heard much about al Sadr lately, except that he is one of the candidates, along with Achemed Chalabi, of a party fashioned by al Sistani that will be on the Iraqi ballot come Jan. 30th.
