I was listening one day and Janeane kept fighting with Sam - and I wondered what was going on. Said that Sam didn't show her respect. Next thing I know, I turn it on again, and Sam said that she would be gone for 'awhile' ... and it sounded very vague ... almost like an 'emergency' leave of absence.
Can anyone fill me in on what happened? I enjoyed listening to her, as well as Sam.

Thom Hartmann on AAR -- he'd be perhaps very good when paired as the egg-head with a comedian like Seder. not that i'd want to see Garafalo go, but i'm playing with it. what do you think?

I liked it when Thom sub'd on Air America. Fortunately, I have Sirius, and Thom is on 'Sirius Left,' and he repeats, along with my other favorite hosts (on #143 - Sirius Left, and #144-Air America).
It sure is nice to have a lot of liberal hosts to listen to - I remember, oh, say a year ago, when I had none (before I got Sirius Satellite). It was so miserable having to choose between 1) no talk radio, 2) listen to conservatives, or 3) only listening to music and 'news.'
Life is getting better for progressives. Maybe we'll form a cohesive network, and successfully be an impediment to the Right's destructive shennanigans (legally, of course)!

Not like Randi. I like Garofalo, but listening to her show is like watching a monkey try to hump a football, so to speak.
