Watching "Christmas Unwrapped" on the History Channel..

This show really ought to piss the wingers off. They've actually had the nerve to point out:

1) Mithras was born on Dec 25
2)Christ was probably born in the spring
3)The marriage of convenience of the date of 12/25 and the new ruling religion of Christianity
4) The English were hellraisers at Christmastime, but Cornwall was a buzzkill and Christmas was banned, but during the Restoration, things went back to normal
5) Which pissed the puritans off, and when they came to america, they banned any Christmas Joy,
6)But, the Jamestown settlers said "party on" and invented egg-nog for their Christmas celebration
7)And we, Americans, basically foisted the latest version of Christmas with commericialization, onto the world in the 1800s.

Somebody is going to be in big trouble for telling the truth on cable tv. What will the children think?

They are some of the most hateful people I have ever met.

How can you have "merry" Christmas when you are just looking to find fault with someone's "season's greeting?" You have to be feeling pretty "unmerry" to be looking for a fight over how someone greets you during the holidays.

That damn commie loving liberal media of elites is trying to destroy Christmas in Amerika. We had better get Homeland Security to issue a RED ALERT for the entire country to gets the people's attention back to important matters, like the War on Terror. Somebody get the FBI to shut'em down with the Patriot Act, and keep it out of the commie loving liberal media.
