Has anyone noticed the Terrorist threat has totally disappeared?
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 07:49 PM by doc03
Just heard on the radio there is a strange lack of chatter about planned terrorist attacks. The word Terrorist has disappeared from the cable news stations, except for the opposition in Iraq are called terrorists now. Every holiday or election since 911 we have been under an Orange alert. Can anyone explain this? Hmmm?

2. There won't be another terror attack until Cheney decides they need one...
But there have been subtle hints...

Planted stories on dirty bombs in harbors, porous border problems, recent announcements by AL-CIA-duh! that more attacks are on the way...

Look, people. They need something major to justify re-instituting some kind of draft. They're runnning out of troops and recruitment is plummeting...

The silence you talk anout may be the "calm" before the New World order's coming "storm"...

Stay vigilant.

Just know who the REAL enemy is.

Sure the threat has disappeared now that the election is over.

As for a treat, I wasn't aware of any.

12. I hope not
that would mean I have more shopping to do.

Anyone know what you get a terrorist for Christmas? Would he be offended if I just gave him a WalMart gift certificate?

7. very good point
you're right - all of a suddent no more warnings.

Which leads me to believe that the terrorists warnings were raised not when there was a threat of terrorism, but when the GOP was in trouble.

9. no baby; the LIES about a phony, bogus terrorist threat have gone
away.

There isn't, nor has there ever been, a genuine terrorist threat.

18. The threat has always existed ....
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 08:22 PM by Trajan
Crazy human beings inhabit the earth .... that will never change ...

The problem is: THIS White House choose to pursue other tasks when confronted with evidence of an impending terrorist attack ....

Another problem is this: The people apparently dont mind having their chains yanked continually by those who would use the 'threat' of terrorism to generate fear for political purposes ...

Being concerned about terror is rational .... but being indoctrinated into a culture of fear by political hacks who use terror as a political tool is criminal ...

The REAL terror threat has increased, thanks to Bush's policies ...

27. or when they gear up to invade Iran or Syria or both
that kind of "chatter" has been seeping in the news for the past couple of weeks

My guess is Iran/Syria invasion in time for 2006 mid-term elections, a co-worker thinks it will be by Feb. 2005 with Israel bombing Iranian nuke facilities to kick it all off

21. It's Kerry's fault
If he had made alot of noise about the election they would have issued a terror alert when important news came out to distract the

public. Since Kerry is playing it quiet there is no need for terrorist alerts, IMHO.
