2. They should call it what it is

Misinforming almost sounds kind of okay. It isn't. It's lying.

In the same way, you can almost excuse abuse of prisoners. But it's not okay. It's torture.

When * finally acknowledges a truth (such as the Iraqis can't secure themselves), he's admired for being so forthcoming. He's not. He's a liar and he's acknowledged failure.

5. This would be so much more effective

if they hadn't printed that B.O. said Jesus is weeping due to personal attacks on Bill O'Reilly. That's not what he said, as you'll see if you view the video clip that was on their front page the day before yesterday. It's an interpretation of what he said - and a loose one, in my opinion.

Thanks for posting this, though. I couldn't find it when I went looking. That's how I came to watch the video.

6. Huh ?

I saw the factor when O'Reilly said jesus is weeping because of personal attacks on him. Media Matters had it exactly right, so how did they misrepresent what he said ?

O'Reilly did a long talking points crying about all the attacks on him, then at the end he said jesus is weeping. He implied that jesus is weeping because of all the people who attack O'Reilly for being a no spin guy.

If anything jesus is probably ashamed of O'Reilly and loves the fact that people expose him as the lying fraud he is. Those people just tell the truth about O'Reilly, then he twists it around to it being an attack on him.

I think O'Reilly has mental problems and that he really thinks he is a no spin guy who reports real news is a fair and balanced way. I believe he actually thinks he is a real news man who does a good job. I say this from watching the show for close to 5 years and from running oreilly-sucks.com for over 3 years.

I truly believe he has a mental problem that keeps him from understanding what a biased right-wing fool he is. I think that he thinks he is doing gods work and a service to the people, and that is scary because it shows he really has a serious mental problem.

7. No argument

except that the Talking Points Memo was also about the imaginary attacks on Christmas, and the implication could also be that Jesus is weeping because of those. The point is it's an implication. That's all I'm saying. O'Reilly did not say, "Jesus is weeping because of attacks on me." To say he did is putting a spin on it.

Maybe I'm just extra picky because I write for a living.

8. I think that goes to show how utterly stupid O'liely is

in the first place, crying is an outlet for human emotion. Jesus is no longer human, so I doubt he wastes his time regressing back to human form to 'cry' over a contemptable, pride-filled, dispicable liar who hasn't repented of his sins when the whole world is full of people suffering at the hands of evil people--to me, that would garner more of Jesus' attentions.

No, O'liely should be given the CONTEMPTABLE, SELF-ABSORBED LIAR OF THE YEAR award.
