Anybody else seen this? Bill is speaking his mind!!

"Democracy is only possible when you have an informed public. Corporate mass media is not informing the public!" the audience loved that one!

1. Italy's PM owns....

the state TV and radio stations, 3 of the 4 news orgs, 50% of the reporters in Italy work for him, and the other half think they might have too! LOL! The PM is good Friends w/ Rupert Murdoch, and this year all the satellite feeds to thru Murdock. We are in the middle of the largest (?) to democracy that any of us will see in our lifetimes. PBS is being "punished" for his coverage of the media! intimidation, lost privileges. Our outrage and letters to media may have started the process of bringing democracy back to the media. I love Bill! all those big words!!

2. When he was reporting from the white house.....

During Lyndon Johnson, they requested the Petagon files of the stories from vietnam. they sent over a truck full of large packages, of newspaper clippings, wrapped in brown paper, and stamped in big, red letters, TOP SECRET! :wtf: HAA!!HAA!!

3. I love Bill Moyers

And I'm going to miss him on Now with Bill Moyers. "Democracy is only possible when you have an informed public" is something he talks and writes about frequently.
