Iraq's Democracy and America's Democracy: Are They Similar?
The similarities are stark and startling. The differences are few.

First, the similarities.

Iraq will hold an election under the threat of "terrorism". If the election is fair, surely the radical Shiite majority that preaches a "Government of God" will win.

They will attempt to force the minorities that believe in another religion or secularism to submit to Muslim Law. (Read their constitution).

Their commitment to a "Religious State" will supplant any form of pluralism.

Sound familiar?

The difference is that in Iraq the "Fundamentalists" are, in fact, the majority. They can win a fair election. In America, for the "Fundamentalists" to win, they need voter fraud and rigged elections to gain power.

Oh, and by the way, in Iraq, the oppressed minorities won't take the fact that they must live without the promised rights of all citizens lying down. You can expect them to fight for their rights.

1. Both designed and implemented by the same group
why would there be any difference?

Do you think they'll stand in line for 10 hours to cast a phony ballot? Mwahahahahaha

2. This whole thing
just makes me sick.

The outcome was as plain as day.

How could this adventure turn out any other way?
