1. The Charade Continues

I saw a photo the other day...a Marine next to his Iraqi "counter-part"...the Marine is in full battle dress, mugging for the camera with his name tag showing while his Iraqi "counterpart" hid most of his face from view and had his name tag covered. Yep, we've truly won the hearts and minds there.

I always challenge the warmongers out there to describe how they would react if this country were invaded by say France or China. They tell us they're "liberating" us from a repressive regime (I usually use Clinton as the example)...then I ask if they'd join up with the French or Chinese or would they join the resistance. Usually the subject changes quickly thereafter.

But then we're supposed to ignore Iraq, except for the photo ops and obey the dictates of the corporate military-industrialists...their greed knows no limits.
