Qaddafi claims credit for Bush victory

Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi of Libya claims he is responsible for President Bush's reelection. The New York Times quotes the Libyan leader as saying, "We know that with this withdrawal, we contributed by 50 percent to his electoral campaign." The statements were made during Qaddafi's first television interview since the United Nations emargo on his country was lifted.
