the "terrorist insurgency" | fighting the election or the occupation?
Edited on Mon Dec-27-04 07:56 PM by nostamj
day after day, the administration AND the compliant media repeat the same dubious mantra:

the terrorists (and the insurgents (who are terrorists)) are trying to disrupt the democratic elections!

they fear freedom!

funny, seems to me that they're trying to disrupt the OCCUPATION.

funny, seems to me that while they may have wanted help in overthrowing Saddam they didn't exactly ask to be bombed by the 10s of thousands.

funny, seems to me that Iraqis know what went down in Afghanistan and don't really want to have an american petro-puppet installed.

funny, seems to me that a tsunami of RAGE is historically overdue

1. The "election" is designed to legitimize the occupation...
so if they're fighting it they're fighting the occupation.
