there a sadder image this year than that? All those people floating in the water and can't get out. It makes me sick and ashamed. What the hell is going to happen to this world?

4. I was at a company dinner the other night
We have a small branch here so it was only 3 of us and our significant others. It was the day that the mess hall massacre happened and this cold front had blew through with snow and ice.. it was a surreal day. In anycase, at dinner I mentioned how sorry I was for those families. I mean, Im in Texas.. real soldier supporters. One of the women was like, uh.. dont talk about that, its bad enough that it happened.

We need to see these things or else it is so easy to be apathetic.
