BBC seems to have been the "network of choice" in the disaster.
Daryn Kagan :puke: and her sourpuss look said it all as she "phone-interviewed" (and interrupted) some people in Thailand.. It cracked me up when at least 2 of the people she interviewed said.."...we turned on the BBC immediately..."...

In past years they would have said.."we turned on CNN..".:):)

When I heard about the quake, CNN only did "updates", and of course returned immediately to their "canned re-run crap". It must be disheartening to be told in a live interview that people don't think of your "ALL NEWS 24/7" network is not relevant anymore :)

1. CNN International
CNNI is doing a good job covering this. They are a huge improvement over the domestic CNN.

3. CNN international is always better.
CNN in the US feels that it needs to whore it up to compete with Fox.

2. But they were probably watching BBC News 24
which is "ALL NEWS 24/7".

It's just not CNN ...
