38. How much are they donating, though?
Seriously. I've donated far more than I can afford already, as have a few of my liberal Dem co-workers. 2 repukes in my department proudly admit they "ain't givin' nothin'". Which is typical of them. They don't donate to United Way, food banks, or holiday charity drives our company participates in. They also don't volunteer. But guess who does? You got it. The bleeding heart libruls, that's who. I'm not saying this applies to all conservatives, but it sure seems to be a whole lot of them. My. Me. Mine. All the way.

it's naive to assume that ppl are automatically cold hearted because of their political skew... there are times when human decency takes precedence over politics; this is that time.

37. I have no doubt such cold-hearted callousness exists
And i also have no doubt that such people are overwhelmingly republican for what i would consider the selfish reasons.

My problem with this thread, and so many others like it, on both liberal and conservative boards is the desire to paint the opposition with such a broad brush.

42. 1500 Swedes and 800 Norwegians still missing...
Whoever said the victims deserve nothing is beyond salvage...

The countries hit were poor - is that a crime to these sub-humans?

The tragedy is very global. As of this writing 1500 swedes and 800 Norwegians are missing in Thailand alone. And just about any western country is missing large amount of people...

How many Americans are missing? It cannot be anything less...
