here's the letter I am sending to * to ask him to cancel his inauguration
Dear President Bush,
Congratulations on your upcoming inauguration.

In view of the recent tragedy in Asia, I am suggesting that you cancel your $8 million inaugural party and donate the funds to the tsunami relief fund.

After the election, you said you wanted to help our country heal. As a voter who did not support you, I am suggesting this would be an excellent way to begin this healing process and win over the 'other side'.

I hope you at least consider this suggestion.

Sincerely,
proud2blib

2. You should copy the local and national media on that letter
and we all should make similar suggestions.

If he really wants to heal this country, this would be a great way to start.

6. Bush's response
Dear Unpatriotic 'citizen'.

If you don't want me to have an $8 million inaugural party, then you are a terrorist, whatever one of those is.

Sincerely, the President, i think anyway,
George W. Bush

(Please note, I am just making satire of Bush, I bet you are more of a patriot than all of the freepers put together)

10. Good letter but it is $50 million+
More than $8 million has been raised for the inauguration, which is expected to be one of the most expensive in history. Inaugural organizers initially estimated that the cost for three days of events would reach $50 million. Last week, the committee said it would spend $30 million to $40 million, all of it paid for by private donations.

Quite a bit for a guy who has already been inaugurated/coronated.

11. not $ 8 MILLION, it's now up to $40 MILLION with millions more pouring
in today, and likely up to the actual coronation....

ALL the war-profiteers are so THRILLED with bush*....they LOVE the way bush* continues to remove OUR Treasury funds and push that money into the pockets of war-profiteers...it's so good...there's NO audits, no oversight, and no questions asked or bush* will slam you as UN-Patriotic and/or terrorist....wow ! you couldn't ask for more....$ 200 BILLION dollars stolen already and NOBODY knows WHERE IT WENT....and that's on top of the normal $ 600 BILLION a year pentagoon budget that NOBODY ever questions because it's 'secret'....bush* is so good at this THEFT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, that he was able to get the WARS money put in SEPARATELY from the already bloated and corrupt normal pentagon budget...ADDED IT on top....couldn't possible expect the pentagoon to spend any of it's regular money to defend the USA in Iraq, could you....

OHHHHHHH....the war-profiteers coronation of bush* will certainly be decadent, bloated, expensive, crass, and in poor taste during time of war and death....

12. DU this petition!!
To:  U.S. President

We, the undersigned feel that Since George W. Bush is spending $40,000,000 on his second nomination, and since he claims to be a man of God, he should donate some or all of the 40 million to relief efforts in Asia to help the victims of the recent tsunamis. A true Christian would willingly do this and so we feel that President Bush should set an example for the rest of the world.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
