are the right wingers and christian coalitioners out there offering any |
|
arms and/or alms of healing to the survivors of the tsunami?
Are they realizing that ...... no matter how much they talk about a lot of the idiocy that they like to talk about, we are all really powerless in life, that none of us knows when our "rapture" is going to happen, nor whether we will be "raptured" because of an illness, a catastrophic act of nature, or a regular every day run of the mill accident?
How much do these christian coalitioners/political right wingers know about grieve and grieving and consoling those who have lost sooo much?
i quit watching the news channels on november 3rd... so i don't actually know what the crazed fanatics are saying.

You forget that Jesus probably doesn't love brown skinned people--only white people from the suburbs.

Remember that slavery and Jim Crow was always supported by "Christians" in the South, on a personal and denominational basis. Most Klan members burned crosses on Saturday night and knelt before them on Sunday.

Evangelicals, no less. Oh, yes, and the majority of African-Americans are Christians as well. What does bigotry mean?

5. Religious Organizations are Huge Givers |
|
So, yes. They give too. It's OK to dislike them, because they are idiots, but this charge is unfair.

7. Earlier, I heard a report that * was clearing brush today |
|
And that he still hasn't made a public statement himself. If it's true, then these are more examples of his being a sociopath. Hard for them to care about anythng but themselves. Clearing brush indeed.
