23 nations and almost 20,000 people surveyed. One interesting stat: Only 3 nations had over 50% say their system is in "Good Shape" instead of "Crisis". Who were they?

I'd rather you see it yourself. What do you make of this?

The kicker though is this:

There is a strong consensus in all but three of the 23
countries (Indonesia, Switzerland and the United States) that
health care systems should be publicly rather than privately
financed. In Canada, 79 percent take this view, compared
with only 11 percent who believe these expenses should be
paid for by individuals, either through private insurance or
out of their own pockets; another seven percent volunteer
that both approaches are equally important.

PS unicef last month... "over half the worlds kids are either {was it hungry or starving? i forget which}, down with a fatal disease, or orphans".

The globalized world is a shambles.

Poverty World site had the report.

I posted at DU.. try search feature. or look in forums on Poverty or Health
